Left Lane Cruiser Are Your New Pushers
I can tell you one thing and one thing only about Fort Wayne, Indiana. It's home to Left Lane Cruiser, bringers of the dirtiest ass rawk and roll this side of wherever the fuck Fort Wayne is. The former two piece, now three piece by way of a new bassist(who plays an electrified skateboard?), definitely like their weed, definitely like their whiskey and definitely don't give two shits who knows about it. They're just as much about the blues as they are about the punk rock and if the racket they make can't properly soundtrack the hoedown you're trying to get laid at, well then, it's high time to get the fuck out of there. Last year they released the heavily smoked out Dirty Spliff Blues, and have complemented it this year with a split EP with 20 Watt Tombstone as well as a new release/best of mix curated by their old drummer Brenn Beck, aptly named Beck In Black. The opening track is an absolutely killer cover of the Hoyt Axton classic The Pusher. Roll it up and hit play immediately.
Be a good lil rock and roller and buy their shit at Alive Records.
