Morning Hype! Prophets Of Rage!
It's no coincidence that the Prophets Of Rage have chosen today to release a new single from their upcoming debut EP. July 18th marks the opening of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio and tensions around the party have been running on high since, well, since Romney lost four years ago. The donkeys and the elephants have been trading off eight year terms since the mid 80's and with Trump poised to try and lead the Republican Party(and the country) back to the promised land we can be assured that this week in Ohio will be must see TV. And must see Twitter. And must see... you get the point. Public Enemy's Chuck D, Cypress Hill's B-Real and all the guys from Rage Against The Machine not named Zack have promised to wreak havoc this week in Cleveland, and by the sounds of their new cover of the Public Enemy classic that shares the band's namesake, they are well equipped to do just that. Both versions of Prophets Of Rage are below.
