Song of the Day: Gin Wigmore - Kill Of The Night

Pop star looks, Winehouse soul and Wanda Jackson spice. Gin Wigmore brings a bit of everything to the table and judging by her Youtube views the New Zealand rocker is about to blow up Stateside too. Her new album Gravel and Wine has already been released in most of the world and now comes out April 2nd here in the U.S., and with appearances on shows like The Client List and Weeds, not to mention that Heineken commercial, she certainly seems ready for global domination. With a voice like that its hard to argue her due, one just has to hope that the major labels don't sink their money hungry claws too deep in, as it  is there's not nearly enough female rockers getting their due without seemingly being pressured into turning themselves into something they're not . Rockabilly tinged pop music? With the likes of Imelda May and Gin Wigmore making serious waves in their respective countries, it certainly would appear that the masses are ready...
