New Tunes - The Strypes

I heard Elton John and Dave Grohl talking these little rugrats up in an interview the other day and had to do me some investigating to see what the deal was. Color me impressed. For a bunch of fifteen year old kids from Cavan, Ireland its pretty damn catchy. It takes a minute to get past the looks and the so very obvious influences, but as I've said before, everybody's got 'em. And if kids this young can take those influences and turn them into foot stompers like these, well, we as music fans are all better off. There's definitely worse things to be into as a teenager than the 60's mod scene, that's for sure.  The first track is an original and the second a Bo Diddley track. Looking forward to hearing a full length being released through Sir Elton's production company soon.
