Morning Hype! - California X

Between a computer on the fritz and having to wade through the murky waters of america's health"care" system, posts have been limited this week. Hopefully back up to full swing soon. I did stumble across this gem though, in a moment of shared clarity between myself the old PC,  a debut by Amherst, MA.'s California X. Dinosaur Jr. comparisons seem to be the go-to when reading up on the band, with it certainly not helping that both bands hail from the same town and perform fuzzed out guitar rock reminiscent of  Crazy Horse's wilder times. There's classic rock, grunge and punk in the songs I've found online, along with, as said before, and undeniable Mascis influence, but, being a purveyor of all things loud, I'll pass on the copycat judgement and just enjoy the bands promising new release  on Don Giovanni records. You should do the same.
