Morning Hype!

In an apparent sign of my undeniable aging, some pop tinged rock n soul music crept into my life this past year, and after getting past the unbridled bombardment of their previous single "How You Like Me Now" that was featured in nearly every commercial and sports pregame show known to man, I sat down and gave The Heavy's 2012 release a good once over and found myself rather pleased with the outcome. I don't think this track is the first single off the English group's The Glorious Dead but it was definitely the first track to really catch my ear. Couple it with some of the more anthemic tracks on the album, some of which include full gospel backup groups, and it makes for an effortless listen, not to mention a yearning for some small club in which to witness them bow the walls. Really hoping for the latter to maybe transpire this upcoming year...
